 FESTIVALS of the LORD

HOLY CONVOCATIONS

The symbolic significance of the Feasts of the Lord is that they are prophetic foreshadows of things to come!
Here, you will learn HOW these Feasts have already been fulfilled, in portion, and yet also have a future fulfillment.
Imagine it as a cup filled up to the brim, then later overflowing, when the Spirit of the Lord is poured out in fullness.

WHY CELEBRATE HEBREW HOLY DAYS?

The answer is as simple as the Word is clear!

So, let us ask God, by considering his Word.

LEVITICUS / VAYIKRA  23

(CBJ)

Please note: Where "ADONAI" appears in capital letters, so does "LORD" in many other versions, or transliterations
Whenever this is seen, it actually is a replacement for the Holy Name, "YHWH".

:4 "'These are the designated times of ADONAI, the holy convocations you are to proclaim at their designated times.

A convocation is a rehearsal.

A rehearsal for what?

To be prepared!

Prepared for what?

Prophecy to be fulfilled!

That is what a convocation is;

A symbolic reflection, foreshadowing future, prophetic fulfillment!

( Con = with + vocation = purpose / a lifestyle, or way of life  or an occupation or work.)
( Rehearsal = practice or recital, in this case a spiritual practice, performed "religiously" = a rite or ritual and recital of future things to come. )

1.  Almighty God ordained and commanded these Holy Days to be observed and

2.  as a sign of his everlasting Covenant.

3. To set apart a people for Himself, as an example to the world and reverent respect for Him.

Sh'ma Yisrael! ~ Your God is ONE and there is no other.

Sh'ma! ~ Observe His Commandments, as an everlastingHOLY Covenant.

Sh'ma Yisrael!

Some Hebrew holidays are merely traditional, within the definition of being added and not being a Holy Day commanded by God.
Here, all Holy Days and holidays are included for your information, as listed below.
However, for God's purpose, only those Holy Days commanded to be established and practiced at specifically designated times are those that we shall focus upon.

EXODUS 23

NOTE: Each holiday begins and ends at sundown on the days listed.

Reasons why Messianics do not and why nobody should celebrate or recognize secular holidays.

( holly days vs. Holy Days )

1.   God commanded us to worship Him, alone.

You shall have no other gods before me."  ~ Exodus 20:3
The first and highest Commandment of Torah.

"Sh'ma Y'israel...!
( Duet. 5 )

2. God demands exclusive devotion.
Exodus 20

4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or upon the earth beneath or within the waters below.
5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God,
punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
6 but showing love toward a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments."

( Ex. 34:14 )

( Duet. 4:24 & 5:9 )

( Song of Solomon 8:6 )

"Sh'ma Yisrael...!"

" Hear, O' Israel! The Lord our God is one God!
Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and soul and mind, with all of your strength
!
"
( Mark 12: 29 )

3.  God calls to us, for us to come out of Babylon.

(The babel of confusion and paganism, from which all holidays stem and infects this world with satanism.)

Then I heard a voice from heaven say:

"Come out of her, my people,
so that you will not share in her sins,
so that you will not receive any of her plagues."

Rev. 18:4

( Compare Jeremiah 51 )

We are to have NO part in this world NOR its abominable celebrations.
We should not even speak the names of them!

EXODUS 23:13

"Be careful to do everything I have said to you. Do not invoke the names of other gods; do not let them be heard on your lips."

PAGAN DAYS OF THE WEEK

1. SUNDAY -  for the "Sun God".

2. MONDAY - for the "Moon Goddess".

3. TUESDAY - for the "god" Tyr, or Tewes / Tiw's.

4. WEDNESDAY - for the "god", Woden / Odin.

5. THURSDAY - for the "god", Thor.

6. FRIDAY - for the "goddess", Frigga / Venus

7. SATURDAY -  for the "god", Saturn.*

In astrological theory, not only the days of the week, but the hours of the day are dominated by the seven luminaries. If the first hour of a day is dominated by Saturn (Saturn), then the second hour is dominated by Jupiter (Jupiter), the third by Mars (Mars), and so on with the Sun (Sun), Venus (Venus), Mercury (Mercury), and the moon (Moon), so that the sequence of planets repeats every seven hours. Therefore, the twenty-fifth hour, which is the first hour of the following day, is dominated by the Sun; the forty-ninth hour, which is the first hour of the next day, by the Moon. Thus, if a day is labelled by the planet which dominates its first hour, then Saturn's day is followed by the Sun's day, which is followed by the Moon's day, and so forth.

Dagon, much like dragon.

Mitre, maybe Mithras - the mystery of sun god worship?

  EASTER

What is the true origin of Lent and sunrise services? How did rabbits, eggs, ham and hot cross buns become associated with Messiah’s Resurrection?

From the time that Sumer became a place of babel, where the tower was built by/for Nimrod, in the valley of Shinar, the so-called "gods" and "goddesses" obtained new, various names, but which are all the same false gods and goddesses, even as all share the same birth-day ~ December 25! ; Winter solstice, when winter ends and there is a return, or "rebirth", of the Sun, or "sun-god", leading into Spring.

The same is true of "Easter", derived for Ishtar, the wife of Nimrod. Once the babbling began, Ishtar also would become the "goddess", Isis and Venus, as well as Freyes (see friday / days of the week, above) and the more generic "queen of heaven" and "mother nature" (the latter, today called "gaia"(guy-yah), as well as others. Yes, the same also holds true for Nimrod. Yet, let's stick to the main focus and point of the story of how the holiday "Easter" came to be.

NIMROD & ISHTAR

Easter in a nut-shell... or egg.

GENESIS 9

First, a bit of Biblical history.
Ham was the second born of three sons to Noah.
Later, Ham looked upon his father's nakedness.
Noah proclaimed that Ham's son, Canaan, along with his generations, would suffer a curse from this.

GENESIS 10

Noah had three sons; Shem, Ham & Japheth.
Ham had sons, one who was named Cush and Cush became father to Nimrod, who built "the great city" Resen.

GENESIS 11

Yet, in was in the valley of Shinar, where Nimrod built the great tower to "reach" heaven.
It would be Shem's family lineage that would produce Abram / Abraham.

NOW THIS IS THE TRUE EASTER STORY

Nimrod acted as king and took a wife, Ishtar
(ee-star
), who was a temple prostitute, become queen. She was wickedly immoral.

Nimrod dies, so that she proclaims that he has ascended up into heaven to become the Sun, or sun-"god". Now, one must understand that these persons aspired to become and claimed to be "gods" and "goddesses", so that they have other names throughout history. Thus, Ishtar will later also become known as Semiramis.
(Supposedly the same person.)

The widowed Semiramis becomes pregnant and proclaims that she was miraculously impregnated by the rays of the Sun, or sun-god, Nimrod, in order that he be reborn.

She gives birth to a son and calls him Tammuz,
who is born on
DECEMBER 25, the winter solstice, like all of the other pagan sun-gods, regardless of their various names, all originated from Babylon.

Tammuz lived FORTY YEARS, being gored to death by a wild boar (pig). FORTY DAYS we set aside for mourning and weeping over Tammuz.
This would lead to the vengeful celebration of feasting and gorging upon
HAM.

Now, Semiramis diquised herself as her son, in order to mislead the army of her dead husband, tricking them in a deadly plot, in order to assure her position as queen. (This is a reference to Santa Claus, as "santa" indicates a female saint. Santa also wears a conical "druid" priest hat.)

Later, Semiramis dies, but is said to have been sent back to descend from heaven in an EGG, on the vernal (Spring) equinox (Easter), lands in the EUPHRATES RIVER, hatches and magically turns a bird (dove?) into an egg laying rabbit! These are fertility symbols. Doing so, in order to demonstrate her divinity. And this is when Semiramis became ISHTAR.
Ishtar, or Venus, the goddess of fertility.

So, 40 days were alloted, each year, for the weeping over Tammuz, ending upon "Easter Sunday", with killing a boar and the eating of ham.

Later, the priests of Ishtar would impregnate virgin girls upon the altar of Ishtar at the "sunrise service".  One year later, they would sacrifice three month old infants and dip eggs in their blood, coloring them RED.

The observance of "lent" originates with the pagan priests practicing a FOUR DAY self-denial of carnal pleasure, in preparation for impregnating virgins.
Today, this begins with "ash wednesday", culminating on the fifth day / SUN-DAY, with the carnal pleasure of eating ham.

Now, if someone says, "But that is not what Easter means to me". it doesn't matter what it means to them or you. It only matters what it means to GOD!

With all of these facts in mind, i can not possibly imagine how anyone with a moral conscience would not find these remnant practices as anything but inexcusable and absolutely repugnant.
Even to participate in a cleaned up version, even though NOT Holy Days ordained by God, is an abomination to the Almighty!!!

ISH = man and male and ISHA = female man / human.

ISHWAR= male "god"

ISHTAR= female god, or goddess.
Like "Eve", or "Ava", it indicates "mother".

Some also claim that it means STAR, as in ISTAR, which probably links this idea to the planet VENUS, or the "morning star" to pagans.
Her symbol is an eight-pointed star.
Symbol of the planet Venus, in ancient times.

9. SEPTEMBER - from Latin, "septem" = seven.
(also associated with the astronomic scepter)

10. OCTOBER - Latin, "Octo" = eight.

11. NOVEMBER - Latin, "novem" = ninth.

12. DECEMBER - Latin, "decem" = tenth.

Roman years had only ten months.
Therefore, it was Constantine's "universal church" that put the Roman, pagan deity names back into use. Thus, the "Gregorian" calendar, named after
 Pope Gregory XIII .

* Pagans also observed their Saturnalia festival in the last week of December, a time when work ceased, gifts were exchanged, and slaves feasted with their masters.

The word "month" is a derivative of "moon", or moonths.

There is NO intention of belittling or insulting Catholics.
We love and ONLY wish to help them and everyone else to open their eyes.

SANTA?  SATAN!
In Latin and Spanish, "San" is used before the names of male saints, such as San Juan, San Luis Obispo, and San Diego

Also, "Santa" is used before the names of female saints, such as Santa Maria, and Santa Lucia.

Does this indicate that "Santa Claus" (satan claws?) is a woman posing as a man? Perhaps what it really conveys is a prostitute in disguise, like the harlot of Babylon being a "mystery" religion. One steeped in the dark, deep "things" of Satan. ( Rev.2:24 ).

 Christmas or X-mas?

Today, we may think of "mass" merely meaning a [sacred] gathering together of a mass of people.
However, does the "X" not resemble a cross, which is the satanic sun symbol?

The Son of God defeated the sun god!

Furthermore, 'X' has often been considered the MARK of death, "crossing out" or extermination.
Being "MARKED for death".

Hebrews did not mark an 'x' in blood upon their doorways, upon Passover (Pesach), but smeared and splattered lamb's blood upon their doorposts and upper frame.
Not the entry way stoop, dare they tread upon
the lamb's blood of sacred sacrifice!

"...take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs."

"Take a bunch of hyssop, dip it into the blood in the basin and put some of the blood on the top and on both sides of the doorframe. Not one of you shall go out the door of his house until morning."

Exodus 12: 7, 22

( see Ezekiel 45:19 )

As for Christmas, what is everyone or anyone doing to "Christ", our Messiah, if when celebrating or recognizing this pagan holiday?

"For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying anew the Son of God to their own demise, again raising [Messiah] up to contempt."

HEBREWS 6 :4-6

This lends insight to see that "mass" actually denotes a
massacre!
It is an ceremonious celebration of execution!
The execution of a holiday or of the true Holy Days!

His-Story of Christ-mass.

The evergreen tree

all pagan...

all from BABYLON!

Mark 3:29 -

Whomever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. Those are guilty of an eternal sin.

(See Matthew 12:31-32 & Luke 12:10 )

According to Merriam - Webster dictionary the word "blasphemy" means

"the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God; the act of claiming the attributes of deity; irreverence toward something considered sacred."

If you are a Christian, you may have heard or read propaganda white washing holidays, as if practicing or participating in them are now somehow clean, even RECLAIMED. Reclaimed pagan practices. You can not make something that is unclean clean. Only God can do that! Cleansing a defiled temple building is a restoration, not a white-washing or reclamation. Even that required following strict rules given by God AND the removal of ALL things pagan! You can NOT make something pagan into something pure or "Christian".

 VALENTINE'S DAY

Cupid, also known as Eros, was the son of Venus (love) and Mars (war), being "god" of desire (for erotic love). As the mythos goes, if one is shot with his arrow, they become filled with uncontrollable desire (sexual lust).

You might as well call Cupid "promiscuity".
All in all, his character seems to be portrayed as a youthful boy - with wings - who was mischievously curious about adult topics, or intimacy, if not a bit perverted.
He is sometimes depicted as being scolded or punished by his mother.

In the Bible, there is another example that may lend some extended credence to this holiday's origin.
The incestuous rape of Tamar!

2 Samuel 13

Amnon has his half-sister bake some "heart-shaped" pastries for and bring them unto him.
Confusing desire with love, he forces himself upon her, even though she objects and resists.
When finished with her, he has her thrown out, his hatred of her now stronger than his ill-conceived plot and notion of love, by demonstrating his
attraction, trying to win over her affection and love, through intimacy, even forced intercourse.  His half brother, Absolom, first son of David, kills him.

This is truly a story and holiday about the two extreme, emotional and physical passions of love and hatred, even unto the maximum of anger and revenge, ending in death!

THANKSGIVING is fine. Give thanks and praise to God every day!

Adam and Eve / Adda & Avva

The Hebrew root ברה (BaRaH) is a child root formed out of the parent by adding the letter ה. This root has the meaning of "eat".
